Dear Emotional Arsonist,

You lie and lie and lie some more

I finally gave up keeping score

You lie to my face and you believe it is true You live in an alternate reality, you really do!

1 have all the proof, you deny it exists

But truth is the truth even when you resist

You can spew all those lies ’til you’re blue in the face It doesn’t make them right, you don’t have a case

You’re making me feel crazy but I know I’m sane

Throw that gas somewhere else, please stay in your lane You’re trying to push me to insanity, for this I know Just remember that you reap exactly what you sow!

She gave them her all. She made mistakes and paid for them dearly. Five yrs out of Forty being a mother and the only thing remember is what happened on their fathers watch. I am to blame I trusted and had no idea that a farther would hurt their own children to hurt the mother. Naïve yes! And fathers who turned their children on to drugs a child gets addicted. Mom goes to rehab dad goes to prison. The other dad has a mindset of a 12-year-old. If she could do it all over again she would do it differently but again, she would’ve never believe that a father would do the things they do to their children to hurt the mother, because that’s the only way you can hurt her the mother is through her children.  drugs, alcohol addiction, cruelty, destroy families, and unfortunately she is witnessing that right now. All she can do is make herself accessible. she knows her truth. She cannot go back to that environment is is not safe. She continues to grow though, helping others and forgiving herself. Praying that her children see through the lies they have been told.

As I sit waiting to pick up my grandson up after school I look around.

In all the cars, there are so many. Most other cars have little ones in them (children), and all the adult heads are looking down at their phones. The little ones simply being with no interaction. Just looking at the adult. I wonder what they are thinking. I wish I was an iPhone?

I know how difficult it is to make the decision to cut ties, especially with immediate family members. It’s a challenging and painful process, but sometimes it’s necessary for your own growth and well-being.
